Israel is a tiny sliver of land surrounded by countries that dictators control. Millions of people are living under dictatorships, including Syria, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Turkey, and Egypt.
Dictators teach religious control to their youth, who march in lockstep of obedience. They hate the infidels, who are people who don’t adhere to any religion other than Islam. Islam makes it clear and states in The Covenant of the Islamic Resistance Movement, August 1988, “Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam obliterates it, just as it obliterated others before it.” Dictators use religion to take control of their citizens and want to exterminate Israel because they feel threatened by a small nation with free people who think for themselves and thrive. Democratic societies, like Israel, believe in Freedom, family, and faith in a loving God.
Today, we see American students marching on our streets and intimidating and threatening Jews. Here are my thoughts on why our young people only understand the suffering of the Palestinian people and don’t know the history or understand the big picture.
The goal of the Hamas terrorists and Islam is to rule the world. Religion, good or bad, is powerful because humans are spiritual beings. Will America or Europe be their next target? We must wake up and realize democracy is at risk.
There are 10,000 religions worldwide, and many young Americans reject any religion. They don’t know that Christianity and Judaism believe in a peaceful, loving God who cares.
We should ask, Why didn’t Freedom flourish in Afghanistan? We were there for 20 years.
We should have promoted Christianity as a moral and spiritual foundation for the Afghan people. Spiritual education strengthens and empowers emotions, which was needed to help Afghans understand the power of the human spirit to develop courage, character, and a self-protective conscience. Freedom is for both boys and girls to attend school and inspire them to start businesses and be creative in work and play. We neglected to give the Afghan people the practical teachings of Christianity, which could strengthen them against tyrants.
American Christianity survived over 250 years because it was founded by men of faith, which allowed them to excel based on the Bible and a God who cared about all people. Americans worked hard, faced challenges, and grew strong and resilient. Most Americans understood that Freedom was fragile, and if “we the people” lost faith in ourselves, we could become victims of violent, controlling men. For two centuries, we prospered and didn’t look for the government or a dictator to control us.
We are all spiritual beings, and we are experiencing spiritual warfare! American university students are compassionate but don’t know the difference between good and evil.
We have 350,000 churches and 4,000 synagogues in the U.S., and they need to reach out and demonstrate why biblical teachings and “Love thy Neighbor” are critical for our survival. We must educate youth about the Constitution, why we have “In God we Trust” on our money and etched on our buildings in Washington, and what it will take to keep our freedoms.
Americans are raised to care about all people and accept all religions, but we may not understand the consequences of a belief that inflicts violence toward the infidels. Now, their goal is to conquer the free world after they try to destroy the Jews. Christians and Jews must unite to defeat hate and evil, which can make America stronger and more potent with less violence and more peace for everyone.
