When young people grow up without a foundation of love, support, and respect, they may not understand the difference between good, bad, and evil. However, we see more crime! How many young people are looting, rioting in the streets, lashing out at strangers, and destroying property? When anger turns into violence, American freedom is on a destructive path.
The traditional structures of parental attention, extended family members, involved neighbors, and a safe school environment have eroded. A Godless society is emerging as we watch young people without a moral compass, creating havoc, destruction, and killing innocent people. Many of today’s youth are growing up with abuse and neglect, which contributes to the epidemic of loneliness and mental health problems.
The news media never discusses how anger and violence can become the downfall of a free society. A godless nation will fail if we don’t speak up about the power of the human spirit. Many adults are failing children because they don’t have any spiritual understanding of their inner power. We assumed that young people would learn healthy values by living in a free society. However, many young people today are angry and become followers to demonstrate their rage at society. They don’t have a spiritual understanding of self or God’s power to heal.
So…How can we help young people discover a loving God this Christmas with a desire to learn about their inner power?
Spiritually centered men founded America on the values of liberty, unity, diversity, individualism, equality, and self-government. Diversity teaches us to embrace one another despite our differences. Each person is unique and essential regardless of their culture.
Spiritually centered adults need to set the example of love. America was built on the power of “We the People.” We must talk to children about the power within every human being to heal themselves. We are all spiritual beings with hidden talents and a self-protective conscience that can protect or convict us if we engage in destructive behavior. Drug abuse and suicide are at an all-time high as young people try to escape from themselves.
To save America, our 360,000 churches and 4,000 synagogues can reach beyond religious walls and demonstrate “Love thy Neighbor” and “In God We Trust.” Not to proselytize but to offer support and help bring neighbors together. If the religious community serves the needs of the people, citizens will support churches and synagogues.
There is hope for the future! America needs people who care to demonstrate God’s love.
Anyone who cares can reach out and bring neighbors together. The Christmas spirit is about showing God’s love for families, neighbors, and their communities. Politicians can’t save us. It will be God’s people who save democracy and America!
